hello friend..
it has been a while..
i brought someone else here today to meet you…
we sure had a good time with you…
(( my e-NutsHeLL ))
the reason for killing :: inez’s birthday..
among the list of places to attack..(korean food..jap buffet…etc)
our mission general (naturally is the birthday girl) has picked this one..
yupz..mona & i have “recce” this place a couple of weeks back…
and thought it was quite worthy for us to come back again..
this time…we brought more soldiers..
meet the crab slayers:
mission general..
troopers: mr & mrs stan..
trooper: mona….(looking innocently through the ways of cooking the crabs)
the general is at all smiles…
the captives..
sad but true…
*burp….
mission accomplished!!…
and the general is happy… 😉
jie has told me about this crab place at tampines that serves very nice baked salted egg crab…
from our experience with kl’s very power salted egg crab..
we haven’t quite found anything else that’s quite its match..
since our “focus” lately is on crabs…
we decided that no other better time (according to mona) to go check it out…
here it is…
after about maybe 20mins or less…
our “main focus” was served…
and there was this other one with curry leaves too..
(mona is checking out on how to cook the salted egg crab)..
we love the baked salted egg crab!!..
even though it still wasn’t as powerful as the one we had in kl…
no other better way to recognize a famous crab place when you see one..
i like how all the crab shells are being doodled…
almost like the marche cows or the singapore lions…
i was quite happy that this crab eating trip was quite “no frills”…
the place wasn’t hard to find…or hard to go…
we didn’t have to queue to get a seat…or wait long for our crabs to come…
we could both go home quiet easily from there even though for mona it was still quite a journey home..
it was a good finishing note to the weekend…
*burp…
