it has been a while…
since i had mac-ies breakie…
recently i discovered their deluxe breakfast…

wow….
they sure are making it bigger….

though not necessarily better…

they literally have everything they have on the menu in it!!…
like a sampler meal…

i was so full even just by eating less than half of it…

absolutely crazy..

flipping through the clear folder of food pictures…
always take a while…
before i could decide what i really really want…

this little shop…
just never stop…
it doesn’t stop cooking and preparing…
it doesn’t stop dishing out delicious pretty fresh dim sum…
this is probably why…
people just doesn’t stop coming…

to anyone and everyone who stays in bedok…
you ought to know that the ntuc at bedok central is now 24hrs and has been 24hrs for a while already…
i truly appreciate the beauty of it and the staff who are willing to take on the shift…
because when i ran out of ingredients in the middle of night cooking…
a 24hrs right opposite my place sure is a good thing..
and yeah…definitely is a not too far away “shopping” destination for the night owls..
after dinner..
after supper…
after all the shops are close and there isn’t much to do & anything to do, beside hanging out at trashy 24hrs macies..

tonight…
was exactly 1 of those times…
so i brought a fellow bedok-ian who hasn’t discover the “good news”…

and as usual…
when we have time go through the shelves thoroughly…
there will always be interesting to see…

i was totally amused by this steamboat box…
like…erm…
what’s with using an image of a guy in office suit???….
being a visual person…
seeing this…i feel hot already….
before i even start eating on the steamboat…

thinking that this could be a box of sweets or lollipops…
it wasn’t….
there are all apples inside!!…
sure is a very close ripped off….

when there’s nothing to rush….
having time to look things through is fun… 🙂

it’s amazing how difficult it to have some decent prata…
we got rejected (again) by zam zam which is supposed to have the best prata in town (besides over rated jalan kayu & what nots)…
because they have decided to go with commercialization during peak hours and serve food that gets them more revenue (yes..they told us again they only make murtabaks) than prata..

we end up venturing to the keppel ktm train station..
just to get some old school flavour…

though the food wasn’t exactly fantastic…
(but the satay was good!!)..
we did enjoy the journey together…
to discover that the food wasn’t fantastic…
