lOVe* in a pAir…

a beautiful insight…

it is true how when we lost 1 side of our pair of gloves…
the other just get neglected…
no matter how much we really like it from the beginning…

reminds me of the few times i have been in a land full of snow…
i must admit that i do see some of the lost halves…
i never felt a thing for them except that they look like a litter on the floor…

my ((red + white)) holga went cOlOur for tHe f!rst tiMe..

i had a roll of film in there for the longest time….
i had it processed but forgot to have the pictures printed (duh!! i know)…

then i tried another roll of black & white film…
it didn’t come out too nice… 😦
was still trying to figure my way around with the camera…
*sigh…

and then i tried another roll of colour film….
and have the pictures printed for the first time!!..

mr traveller & antz’s toy overlapped by accidentally..
guess that’s all the fun about toy cameras… 😛
you can have all sorts of funky things going on with the film!!

i brought my holga to office…
and had the faces of some of my good friends in it…
(sorry about all the black specks on the faces!! apparently bits of the sponge on the spool got on the film..)

i brought my holga to the seah residence…
when delphine & kenneth cooked dinner..

i brought my holga with me again to office..
while we prep for jian xiong’s wedding video gift..

i brought my holga to xiao guilin at bukit gombak & kranji war memorial..
the day christina & i were out taking pictures together…

it was also when i had some nice pictures…

while christopher is away in penang capturing some beautiful moments…
christina & i are around to check out some places that i have never been…
and places that i have missed…

first stop…
xiao guilin at bukit gombak…

although it required me to travel to the other end of the country..
i didn’t quite mind at all…
i miss the adventurous part myself…

for a long while…
since i parted ways with someone who was once dear to me…
i haven’t done any discovering and trekking and trying new things…

thank God for christopher & christina…
new friends that i have grown closer to…
through the love of capturing moments…

so here i am at xiao guilin….
although it wasn’t as big as i thought it was..
(or it seemed to be …from the many other pictures that i have seen)..
it was still interesting to see something like this – natural…
just opposite some hdb estate…

lovely weather…
hot & humid it might be…
it’s always nice to see some blue sky…
(sorry i tweaked the colours)..

the problem with hobbies…there will always be so many knick knacks..

seeing them walk in awkward ways & directions with their load is funny..

nope…i never get to have 1 of these…

(O) it’s reaLLY a 月饼…

the way uncle stan eats his mooncake is amazing…
he literally just eat the whole thing at 1 go…

no cutting…
no sharing…
really like eating a piece of 饼干…

btw: for those who don’t know uncle stan…he only eats mooncake with 4 yolks…yeah manz… 4 yolks!!!! at 1 time…

i ran away again…
i finally did when i couldn’t win the internal struggle that i have been facing for weeks…

i got tired…
it was hard…
or maybe because i just didn’t fight hard enough…

renewing my walk with Him was too fast too furious…
i was eager…
i was excited…
but i had it head on when i just couldn’t get it..
the doubts & the uncertainties got the better of me…

when i finally decided to throw in the towel..
i acknowledged it…
& took off…

for the many days i have been on mars..
i couldn’t tell what was worthy…

mars was where nobody knew me…
mars was where i can escape to for a while…

then…
many signals started appearing on my radar…

i shared so much love with other things & people…
the feeling of giving was my source of happiness..
but when other people showed their love to me…
i didn’t know how to react…
and this is when i start to feel even more out of place and out of space…
it was a feeling not familiar to me…

the many sms-es….
i read & got scared…

the flowers & the little message tag…
i read…i saw…i held them in my hands..
and acknowledged the fear of unfamiliarity…
and missing the feeling that i can’t remember i last felt…

i watched this film ‘the cove’ last night and was shocked to tears the content of the movie…
i went in with the thought….
ok..environmentalist film…
ok…dolphin killing…
but to really see it….see it right in my eyeballs…
was just….
just….
i don’t know…
i just feel speechless…

even right until this moment..

i couldn’t believe…
that the many other parts of japan doesn’t know what taji is up to…

i couldn’t believe…
what the people in taji are doing the dolphins…

i couldn’t believe…
what the japanese are doing to themselves – feeding the children with dolphin meat that is high in mercury content..

i couldn’t believe…
that people can live in such denial…

i couldn’t believe…
that people can work in a pool of blood everyday for about 6 months every year…

i am excited…
whatever it might be…
