after being in bali too many times and too long…

have 5 people on the same bike…

have fresh fish on the bike…
have mountains of keropok on the bike..
have stacks of water containers on the bike…

i wasn’t surprise anymore when i saw this….

a little humble dessert crepe shop i actually bothered going back a couple of times…

it was still early in the day after diving..
i decided not to waste anymore time and just go running around this little beautiful island..
too good to miss a moment…

getting on the local tricycle seemed easy enough…
i decided to give it a shot!!..

it feels like it’s a standard fair to go anywhere…
well not too extreme distance i supposed..

and there are only that few roads on the island…
you hop on at the main road…
you hop off at the main road…
easy….
something i can still quite managed… 😉

and on the way…
i couldn’t quite resist this sugar coated little thing..

but it was so hard!!!….
people here seemed to eat a lot of such hard bread…..
eeeeeeeek……
sorry….not my thing…

no it didn’t go bad…
it’s just a local acquired taste..

prepping for my 2nd dive…

the sand is so fine i can’t even focus…
i still find it super surreal that a beach can be so almost-perfect….
feels like i am standing on a smooth piece of paper…

here comes my “transport”…

it was a good start…
i was excited about the other areas i was going to explore…

the beautiful water & sand definitely help in painting a pretty picture…

i don’t know if it’s really a kind of bread..
but it isn’t really a cake as well…

whatever it is…
it’s really so yummy!!…

the whole “bread”…
the glossy top was what made me want to eat it so much… 😛
and i had…
just 2 slices…..
(though i was so greedy i wanted more..)

perfect for an after dive… 😉

i have had a dramatic “landing” on the island of boracay…
but at least my first morning had been good…
breakfast & a walk along the beach…
just to “warm up” to the place..

and now…i am going diving…

that’s the dive boat waiting for me…
how nice..
walking distance…
on the very fine sand & clear waves…

brian & elaine (? – ok i can’t spell her name)…
brian – dive guide with lapu lapu..
elaine (?) – a researcher on a project to protect & bring back more life to the waters here…
both going out with a gps to mark out some locations…

it was quite a big stone fish..

seemed to be just watching the world go by outside…
good…just stay in there… 😛

this is supposed to be some well known thing of fish feed in the water..

my first morning..
i woke up..
ate breakfast…
& ran to the beach less than 100m away..

no matter how many pictures i take of this place..
no matter how many angles i try to capture of this place..

i don’t think i will ever do justice to this amazing place created by God..
i don’t think i will ever capture the correct shade of blue that God has bless this place with..

i couldn’t resist running into the water…
or sinking my feet into the ever so fine sand…
not here…
