i haven’t meddle with one of these machines for the longest time…
they come in all shapes & sizes…
they can tell you all sorts of things too..
from your fortune to your lucky number…
interesting things we used to entertain ourselves with…
ok..i wasn’t one of them…i never believed it..hehe….

yeah…i never thought anything can go wrong with a big pink bag when wearing black..
so i have never tried to see my reflection or my silhouette with it…
not that it’s anything bad..
but i think it’s funny how massive the pink is….
(erm no…those were not matching flowers for my bag…but for inez on the day she woke up on the wrong side of the bed..hehe…)

hmmmmm…i like caramel better…

it’s supposed to be a girls get together today..
something quite hard since ping has been a mother…
you know..pamper duties etc…

but jessica & i had a surprise up our sleeves…
it’s mummy ping’s birthday today!!…
yeah!!…happy 4th july birthday!!…

waiting anxiously for ping to come…
we haven’t seen her for a while…
or at least..i haven’t…

i was beginning to see food out of everything…

resist any of their desserts…

this mango eskimo thing is nice nice nice nice nice…

loving the lemongrass tea too..
soothing…
i was a bit put off by it at first…cos it seemed to be in the same “genre” as ginger tea..
but it was nice & comfortable after a while..

but….while we wait for the lead to come…
we decided to fill out stomachs first…
(after receiving a will-be-late sms)

fish white wine with tomato sauce (something like that) pasta…
it was really good…
so good i can’t stop telling jessica how much i really like it when i was eating…

yes…we cleared the plate…

bacon cream sauce pasta…

& finally she came!!
happy birthday ping!!..
forever young!!…

thank you ck!!..*hugz….
for making us a caramel chocolate cheesecake in a special size..
which tasted really really good!!…
all of us love it!!..

chocolate banana cake..
another fantastic killer…
i will die…
a very very…..very happy man…

bacon on the other…

to sin (i get it right this time!!) & ck & everybody else at caramel & hairloom…

i found myself an almost perfect spot for mini watching…

armed with a rocket with roasted pine nuts, nashi pear, crisp parmesan with white balsamic dressing and balsamic glaze salad….

and under some big shady trees…

I found fresh sole fish at jason’s the market place down at tanglin mall..

at least I could still see some bones & the skin….

yeah..a public announcement that the 2 people have come together & tie the knot…

my parents still have their article in the glass display of my mother’s dressing table…
but nothing modern or fancy like jessica’s picture…
back during my parent’s times…they still have to do the traditional wedding gown studio shot…

to be honest…
i think it’s a sweet gesture…
almost like sharing the good news with the world..
even though not necessary…
even though the billion & 1 people out there might not know you…
