3rd lesson of my bronze cross certification today..

i still haven’t change my mind about young men (i mean boys)..
perhaps i am too old for this…too old for them..
not at all amused by their jokes and kiddy acts…

besides all that..
i guess i enjoy this module of life saving course very much…
swimming in the sea…in the sun…with the sand..
is just a different thing altogether than my lap training in the pool…
definitely much more alive!!..
maybe it is also because it is closer to how it is like when i go diving…
something i love & miss very much…
(3 more weeks to bali!!!)…

erm yeah…that’s my instructor…

we f!NallY did it…!!

we have been talking about going on a makan trip in malaysia for the longest time…
talk from jb…to melaka…to kl…

we did make it to kl…
then it was history already….

for the long weekend..we decided to really do the jb eating trip…
by taking the train from tanjong pagar…
i have gotten used to this train ride..
really quite a hazzle free mode to go to jb…
for mona & kris…
it just has been a long time…
or maybe a new adventure?..

for the longest time i have paid $13 per ride…
today..strangely there was a $3.50 ticket available but on another train that’s leaving 45mins later..
sure!!…then we have more money to eat in jb…

then…it was a shocking surprise…

we actually have to stand!?!!!
what the heck??…
and people being people….
do the usual thing of hogging near the doors…and not moving in even though there are still space along the aisle…

ok….a new lesson learn every time…
no more $3.50 tix..

i don’t want to feel like a cattle being herded around manz…

after…
a train ride…
2 custom clearances…
an hour of standing later..

we made it…
to the other side of the causeway…

and so did ice bat…

believe it or not..
we actually caught 2 movies in a row..
friday the 13th + fast & furious 4…
vin diesel is hot!!!…hot hot hot….
i have always wanted to try watching movies in malaysia…
after all..that’s what i try to do when i visit any country..
(if you consider malaysia, although next to us, a country)
it’s cheap…rm$10 something like that..
& rm$13 for blockbusters or new movies…
2 movies…why not?..
and i must say the theatre is not bad…
except that the movies come with malay subtitles..not that it matters since they are english shows…

some “souvenirs” to bring back home..

dunkin donuts…
and still….nothing beats krisy kreme…
awwwwww…..

i love candy floss!!..
definitely happy to see some…
huge bags of some…

after some hours of routing around…round & round…
past the jams & bad traffic..
(part & parcel of coming to jb)…
time to feed the growling monsters again..
we missed the massage…
but it’s ok…
hungry monsters are tougher to handle…

we took a while to order…
not that long a while..
we were amused with the names of the dishes on the menu..

let’s see what mona’s hands are really going for…
