it has been a while..
since i hang out at the beach in singapore..
kenn had grown fairer than me…
and that certainly eeeks him…
that’s why we showed our faces to the burning sun at km8 today…

indulging in a jug of refreshing mojito…
we feel nothing less than fabulous…

it’s time for steamboat again!!
yeah..my father loves steamboat…
not the stuff-yourself-till-you-die kind of steamboat buffet…
but the old school set kind…

7th storey hotel charcoal steamboat used to be his all time favourite..
but the government has decided to take it down last year…
to make way for the ever growing complicated mrt line…
*sigh*…
oh well…

the restaurant has opened a new place down at the marina barrage..
so it was a perfect outing…
checking out the new place in town + charcoal steamboat..

mum & pa doing their usual serious discussion…
based on facts from the papers…news…national geographic…
i could always find out something new & interesting from them…

mum & pa carries on..

me listening & trying to digest the information overload…

then it’s time to eat!!!..
i am glad that they still keep the charcoal part of it…
but we weren’t allowed to sit indoors..
all steamboat customers have to sit outside..
in case we burn the new carpet?..

the steamboat is not too high to even eat sitting down…
previously…there was a hole in the center of the table to hold the steamboat..
so everything was still eye level & we could eat comfortably in our seats..

i guess it’s still fun…

fRidAy tHE 13th…

freddy left me (yes…again)…
today on friday the 13th…

she is my best partner in crime i ever had at work..
even though we are always in different departments..
maybe it’s the chemistry that we have….
it makes us fight between ourselves..
it also allow us to produce some of the best work that our agencies ever did before…

(yeah..she’s still pointing her middle finger at me right till the last moment)

we went to the black sheep cafe and ate ourselves silly..
over some really nice french food…

before we say good bye..

the website of the okinawa churaumi aquarium in japan comes in the form of a shark…

a pretty docile one considering that it just seemed to swim around quite gracefully…

i like although it’s body is not moving much…
its tail is still wagging as it steers its body forward…

i really like how i can check out the various marine life…fish or whatever that they have at the aquarium by clicking on each of the “scales” on the shark…and a video will play…

i just saw the “guitar shark”…some manta rays…a whale shark…a bunch of garden eels!! (biting each other’s heads off)..all time beautiful jelly fish…
