it won’t be long before this place is going to be taken down..
and it won’t be long before this sunrise will never been seen from this view anymore…

the new 7th story hotel will have to make way for the new development all around…
after more than half a century..(since 1953)..

gone will be the sound of the manually operated lift…
gone will be the smell of charcoal steamboat..
gone will be the many more things and memories that travellers and visitors have left behind..

the new scarecrow who probably should have scare all jobs away…

(partly due to the heavy research work i have to do on stencil/graffiti/street art)
and he sure has some really high priced stencil work going around…

i like this series of work that i saw that looks quite fully painted…or maybe they really are..

‘Untitled/This Is Just To Say’ is the product of four years spent photographing the New York subway trains and their commuters. The images speak of the transience of metropolitan existence, encapsulating the bizarre potential for loneliness and peace, despite always being a few centimetres away from someone else.

being quite a perfectionist (or maybe i am just being anal)…i am guilty of frivolous printing sometimes..

doesn’t help that i am dyslexic when it comes to reading a lengthy document on the screen…
lengthy document = many printed pages

the only ways i recycle my paper…
to wrap my apple cores and orange peels…
to stick my receipts on when i file for claims…
to hold my skittles..

this wallpaper will serve as a further reminder to myself of my bad habit..
