he’s one interesting character..with a beautiful wife. he makes diving less serious even though we have to observe the usual standard safety procedures. or rather….he makes it easier to remember these mundane details. my mission best-friend-forever-A…mona was taking her advanced open water. yeah..ADVANCED manz…don’t play play… :O
last year we were here…with the other interesting character, sangut. he was great and cool as well!! and he had certified mona for her open water course. but he has left to pursue a better career opportunity on a live-on-board in komodo. so cool!!
padang bai.
about an hour drive from sanur. where the restaurant’s food is one of the best. there’s a ferry terminal there that takes people to other parts of indonesia. apparently to lompok for example.

doing a refresher at the padang bai restaurant…though all we wanted was to order lunch.. 
the few times when menyun is very serious about his job..hehehe…ok, he’s always very serious and strict with safetly procedures. he just makes it a lot easier to absorb into our holidaying minds…

a very beautifully camouflaged frog fish. ok..it’s beautiful in its ugly ways…this one is quite small. but i was happy to still find it. it’s always their beady eyes that give them away…

i am quite lucky to find another BIG frog fish just before i surface..a black one!! i find the black ones most sexy and mysterious…it’s really solid black. the color looks so saturated i can feel it’s really 100% K on the color picker.
